Hmmm, I've used Salter's Rose, and must say I hate it. The scent is awful and very un-roselike, and makes me seize up with asthma. And I find this cream distinctly un-lubricating. YMMV, but I have a largely unused tub of this stuff which I'd love to get rid of.

This sum may be soon spent, the regret only remaining of having foolishly consumed it; but in the other case, he escapes the frequent vexation of waiting for barbers, and of their sometimes dirty fingers, offensive breaths, and dull razors.

Sell and trade forum - I am sure somebody will bite.
I'm not into the floral scented creams (violet, rose, lavender, etc.), So I haven't sampled the Salter's Rose, but I'm still a bit suprised you found it unlubricating as I would imagine it to be different only in scent to those I have tried. But as always, YMMV

Good review.
Salter's Mint is the only one of their creams I own and love it. I'll probably look to Salter once the price rises come into effect with Trumper.

I like Salter's Mint and also their Vetiver.
Only Salter's I have is Lime... Really makes me want to try T&H West India Limes

I know this could potentially branch this thread out into a conversation about Lime shaving creams, but I found the T&H west indian limes to smell like lime candy... just too sweet for my tastes. The only other lime I've tried was Castle Forbes and that was much more to my liking.

Strange. I had the exact opposite response. Coates, btw, is the least like candy to me, of the ones I have smelled (CF, T&H, GFT, Coates, and SCS).Originally Posted by SLider
