Restoring finish on Gillette black handle

Recently I got a Gillette slim adjustable that had no problems with the finish on the handle. Unfortunately, I soaked it in a solution of bleach water and a little of the black paint on the handle came off in the water and now it doesn't look as good. Is there a way to restore the black finish on the handle? What kind of paint would you recommend for this and how would I apply the paint? It looks like a flat finish black paint.

Actually, it is not paint but a acrylic resin coating. I had recently saw a thread somewhere by an individual that painted the coating to replicate the original finish. I'll see if I can find it. It may not have been on this site.
