    Default Best Aftershave Balm,ingredient by ingredient?

    Hi Gents,sometimes i feel the sensation that our buy from the name of the brand house not for the ingredients that composed the aftershave,for example which is better? :

    *Musgo Real Balm*:Aqua, Sorbitol, Glycerin, Propyleneglycol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glyceryl Stearate Citrate, Propyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Sweet Almon Oil (Prunus Dulcis), Parfum, Butyrospermum Parkii, Xanthan Gum, Cera Alba, Buxus Chinensis, Hydrogenated Palm Glycerides, Sorbitan Stearate, Sucrose Cocoate, Echinacea Purpurea, Althea Officinalis Extract, Squalane, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Allantoin, Benzyl alcohol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone.


    *Proraso Balm*:Aqua / Water, Cyclomethicone, Triceteareth-4 Phosphate, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Tryglycerides, Hamamelis Virginiana, Glycine Soja, Polyglyceryl-3-Caprate, Aluminium Starch Octenylsuccinate, Menthyl Lactate, Carbomer, Tocopheryl Acetate, Bisabolol, Allantoin, Parfum / Fragance, Sodium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben

    Which is better? easy ,the balm that have best ingredients,ingredient by ingredient,. or not?

    well ok,the question is,that balm is the best ingredient by ingredient:

    Proraso?
    Musgo real?
    Hydrolast?
    GTR?

    The balm that reacts with your body chemistry(hence YMMV) in the most beneficial fashion.

    Some people will use cost also to decide which is the best;others may use availability too.

    One other thing I have no clue what most of those words mean. I like how Mama Bear for example and others put parenthesis (with lehman's terms) for us that aren't chemist majors.

    Speick seems to have a good ingredient list.

    I think we can safely say that all of the artisan small-scale vendors we all like have ingredients lists similar to Mama Bear, otherwise why would we do it? Pinaud Clubman also has a very short ingredients list, but some of the words on there are a wee bit scary. RazoRock, as well, has a modest list of ingredients.

    Different brands use different ingredients as well, so there is not exactly a single answer. This also piggybacks off of the same concept that everyone is different. Play with a few different ingredients you may find to like but I like green tea extract for it's skin healing and anti-inflammatory properties.
