Default Art of Shaving in Boston

    ... just opened on Friday!

I stopped in between Mass and a walk along the Charles today, or I would have gotten more... (didn't want to tote too much around) so I got a tube of lavender. Woohoo!

It's in the Copley Mall, close to C.O. Bigelow. Bring yer wallets.

    Josh,

How do you like the lavender? I stopped in the other day and they don't seem to be in a part of the mall that gets much traffic. The young lady told me they will be getting a barber soon.

    Steve,

Yeah, the young ladies seemed as bored as all get out when I got there. They sprang into action, though... made me feel like a visiting potentate!

As for the cream, it's too early to tell. I tried it out for the first time today, with a brand new Vulfix #2233, and the lather didn't seem wet enough, for some reason, though I tried to tweak it. The smell was ok (I love lavender) but not as strong as I'd like. However, no nicks, unlike Taylor's...

    Cheers,

    Josh

I noticed this when I used the AOS lavender as well, it seemed to cake on the face a little bit

    Josh,

If you love lavender, try QED Lavender shaving soap. It's not a cream but the levender scent if very intense and is derived from essential oil. Buy it for the scent and you will love the lather as well!

Man, I just got a stack o' soaps (hit mama bear up after getting some from St Charles) -- I'll keep that in mind in 5 years when I'm low on soaps:)

    Thanks for the recommendation!
