Dovo Special vs Dovo Bismarck: Which should I get?

Ok, I have a dilemma. I would like to purchase another Dovo, but I don't know which one I want. On the one hand I have always loved the Dovo Bismarck, because it just looks so pretty, but on the other hand, I like the look of the more simple Dovo Special (tortoise).

Which should I pick??

I would really appreciate the opinions of anyone who has used either, or (preferrably) both.

The special looks to be a 5/8 and the Bismark looks to be a 6/8. I have the Bismark 6/8 and it is one of the best shavers that I have. It hones very easily because it is a full hollow. I have some really nice razors now and the Bismark is still not really beaten for the quality of the shave that it give me. I can not speak to the Special.

It is the bismarck I am leaning towards, but am not even sure of whether I want black or red scales. I really like the red, but the black ones also look nice. Which do you have? Or do you have the white one?

Special - hands down. They shave better.

Hmm, what about the Bergischer Lowe? Have you tried that one too Joel?

I got 2 Bismarks 1 red and 1 black also a special all in 6/8, the Bismarks look much better imho but the special shaves better

The Special is tempting (though I might wait and see how my Revisor shaves, maybe I can swap it for a Special if I don't like it). What is currently more tempting (and expensive!) is the Bergischer Lowe. I don't know, too many razors, too little money (for them all)...
