They, just like B&B, just use the vBulletin software. Its quite popular... if you frequent a lot of forums online you'll see it used in many places. Depending on the plug-ins, fonts, colors, etc used by each board, some end up looking more similar than others, but a ton of forums are run on vBulletin software.

OK.. here's my crazy story on Miley.. I'm from Ashland.. a small blue collar town in Ky. When I was a kid, I remember my mom getting alum siding put on our house. The guy that owned the company knew my mom, so one day he comes out to 1) inspect the work, and 2) show off his new adopted baby girl.

That baby girl grew up and dated a hillbilly from Flatwoods, Ky. Yep.. that baby girl is Miley's mom!

We'd have to start a whole new thread about the Webkinz! Don't even get me started!

The thing is, a few weeks back, they added the disney channel to openly broadcasted channels over DVB-T (digital video broadcasting -terrestrial, might be called freeview in some places), well anyways, to the point,
They air Hanna Montana every night at around 21:30, so i check it out a few times to see what the whole deal is about, her voice when singing, especialy the show theme sond (best of both worlds, i think) her voice sound mighty metallic, and it hits me like a brick,

the kid cant sing.... shes pitch corrected,
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitch_correction

its a tool that appeared to lower recording costs, studio time is expencive, and in the old days, you had to toss out entire sessions if the vocalist couldn´t hit a specific note or couldnt get the right pitch right, and thats tons of money down the drain, in the 90´s electronic pitch correction was introduced, so you could fix those little errors and salvage the recording session (and save money),

the problem is that today, recording studios and labels use it "manufacture" artists, usualy teen idols who´s talent is manufactured on a mixing table or a computer,

the thing this rant is leading to is that the reason i showed interest is becuase i heard parents were basicly killing each other (not literaly) for concert tickets and access to live appearances, and it seemed to borderline on fraud to sell them a star/idol when the real talent is held by a mixing board or a computer program,

As a friend explained, who paid $500 per ticket for 3 tix (she, daughter & friend), "But it's Hanna Montana?!"

its cute, its funny, it keeps the kids occupaid,

but at the end of the day, its a show, not music,
that kid is going to get a rude awakening when she tries to go solo, 2-3 albums as a "popstar" and probobly replaced by a younger disney "prodigy", lets not forget that miley, demi (lobato) and the jonas kids are replacing the other Disney prodigys like Christina Aguilera, Britney spears, the backstreet boys and N´sync, they all came out of the micky mouse club, then went in to pop music through jive records, and discarted once younger and more popular replacements were introduced, anyone still remembers brandy ?
