Royal brand single-edge blades at Big Lots.

Hi folks -

For you single-edge shavers out there, I thought you might want to check this out. I was in Big Lots the other day and they had 10-packs of "Royal" brand single-edge blades for $.80. I bought a pack (use them for scraping.) The packaging says "Compare to GEM. The chrome edges of these single edge blades have an extra Vydax coating to assure you close, comfortable shaves. (Vydax is a registered trademark of the DuPont Company.)"

Just thought I'd mention these. They sound like a nice deal.

i had a friend send me some of these. i was excited b/c the price was amazing, so if i could get them to work it would be great.

i took one out of the pack. the spine looked cheap and fake. i mean REALLY bad.

3 WTG passes and no hair removal. none. needless to say my whiskers were hysterically laughing and pointing at me until i popped in a pella.

but, as always, ymmv. if you can get them to work then awesome. for the price, its totally worth a shot.

I have a Big Lots nearby. I never stepped inside one before. Do they have any good shaving products?

Big Lots does have a lot of disposable razors and canned foam. That's about it.
I did get a nice Sensor razor there for $2.50.
