    i just got a str8 razer its horn handled clear horn and it says wade and butcher sheffield how can i find out how old it is?

    Wade & Butcher were a very prolific maker. As a VERY broad guide, if it says 'Sheffield' on the tang it's probably pre-1890-ish. If it says 'Sheffield England' it's probably post-1890. Pics would be good for better ID!

    bump found info 1840's 102$ in new shape has 1/2 inch break
