Default First shave with Greek Bic blade

I had my first shave with a Greek Bic this morning and was so satisfied that I thought I'd share. Overall, it compares very favorably to a Swede in terms of sharpness and smoothness. It performed better on my chin than a Swede- got a Feather-like BBS there without the irritations that Feathers give me.

Cheaper than Swedes and Feathers, sharper than Derby's and just about as smooth. I'm very impressed. I wonder how many good shaves I can get from a blade, but at this point I am ready to start using these over the Derby's.

I got mine on BST from Pauldog. I am not sure what his stock is like, but it's worth sending him a PM.

When I got my Bic blades 6 + months ago the guy in Poland was the only place you could get them in the U.S.

    I really like them.
They are almost as sharp as Feathers but unlike Feathers they also work very well in my Aristocrat which doesn't like Feathers.
Along with Derby, Israeli and Feathers they are part of my blade hoard.

This is the only blade I've manage to get nicks and weepers with when using it with the Slant 39C.

I still have a few left from Jason's (dridiot) sampler pack. I was going to give them a more extensive go and use them up, but they have ended up at the back of the shelf. Maybe someday I'll take them out for a spin again.

Too many other blades out there that work better for me.

Just an update on my Greek adventure. 2nd shave as good as the first. No noticeable decline in quality.

3rd shave started pulling a bit by the end of the 3rd pass, and I have a bit of neck irritation. I've had much worse, but it looks like this is a 2-shave blade for me. I'm going to go through the entire pack before I make any final decisions, but I'm very pleased for the moment.

    Hi Gents,
I have found that the Greek BiCs works well in areas of hard water.
Strange, I know..... or could it be just me.

I like the BIC's, but they don't go the distance. I get 2 maybe 3 shaves from a blade.

i find them similar to red personnas, but slightly milder, a good coupling with a HD headed razor gives me a good shave, but it wont cut it in the vision,
