Ok, this is a weird question for any machinists out there.
When referring to a machine screw thread, like "2-56", how do you SAY it?
Is it, "two dash fifty six", "two fifty six", "number two, fifty six"?
(Personally, I go to the hardware store and say "Gimme one of these", or "I need one that fits this hole")
I'm helping someone write a script for a instructional video, so I want to make sure I get it right.
