Default Former lurker steps out of the shadows

I should begin by introducing myself. My forum name is not as odd a choice as one might first think. My name is Nathan Belcher. I've been gradually getting into the art of shaving over the last year two years. I thought I had it all down until I came across B&B and developed a bad habit. My lurking has gone on for far to long. The resources on this forum and all the reviews are outstanding. It is incredibly easy to go about the whole thing wrong and an enjoyable experience when wet shaving is done right. I've already been working on my equipment dysfunction (ED) and will snap some pictures of the whole sha bang when I get back from Belgium.

By the way, can any out there recommend must haves in the Shaving world that I can get in Brussels or Leuven? I'm only here for a couple days for work but don't want to miss any possible new creams or soaps.

Welcome! You may want to try some fine Belgian Ales. Not sure how they will improve your shaving, though...

I don't know if it's a "must have" per se, but you could get some stuff from De Vergulde Hand. Should be available in most drugstores.

Welcome in outta the cold. Glad to hear from you. Don't know about any 'must haves' in Brussels but I hear their SPROUTS are great...heh, heh. Visit here often and keep us posted.

Thank you for the welcome and the advice. I just got back from Belgium and while I wasn't able to acquire any shave stuff I can report that Belgium is a fabulous place, their waffles are supreme (they even have waffles in the vending machines), and if you ever get the opportunity to visit you should. Oh I forgot to mention the three common ones which are always mentioned for good reason: mussels in brussles, the chocolate, and the BEER.
