A few years back I milled a puck of SCS Lanolin with a puck of VDH Deluxe. The resultant puck delivered many quality shaves. Today, it is my sad duty to report that the puck is finished. I used my SOC to work the last bits out of the container but I did have enough for three passes. Off to the next puck of SCS goodness.

Finished up this jar of Proraso pre/post. And will be replacing it. It's the only pre-shave I use beside Castle Forbes.

Finished a stick of Arko a few days ago. It lasted me about two and a half months with heavy loading.

Jeesh, the last time I finished something was back in October. I must be slipping. Just finished a bottle of SCS Bulgarian Lavender aftershave. This was made by Sue especially for a Mod Get-Together back in 2009. Sue made it at Jim's request (with a customized label) and Jim gave a bottle to all of the attendees. Thanks again to Jim. It was good stuff.

I finished off a bottle of Pinaud Clubman hair tonic this week.

I won't be replacing it, though ... I find I much prefer Eau du Portugal hair tonics, and I have several bottles waiting in the wings.

(a bottle of Tabac cologne is on its last legs ... hope to report its demise soon.)

Yesterday saw two great products bite the dust. DR Harris Marlborough Shaving Soap and a 3.5 oz bottle (glass) of Aqua Velva Ice Blue aftershave. The Aqua Velva had a back-up ready to go and the Marlborough will be replaced at some point.

Proraso Sensitive Aloe + Green Tea soap - A great soap, but I have a preference for different scents. Wont buy again soon.

TOBS Sandalwood Cream - Decent soap with a nice scent. I prefer slicker creams and won't buy again.

AoS Sandalwood PSO - Great PSO, and the replacement came today. This time in Lavender.

Next target in my sights to kill - P.160.
Paul - Cartridge to shavette: 4/20/2011. Shavette to straight: 10/13/2011.

    A sad day indeed!
I polished off a vintage bottle of the fine fragrance, Floris Gentlemen's cologne. Long out of production, I will miss this oakmoss and cedar elixir of manhood!

I do have another bottle tho!

Finished a tube of L'Occitane shave cream not long ago. It was very moisturising, gave a great, easy lather and a very slick shave. May buy it again when I've got through my puck of D R Harris Arlington...

I have worked through many, many different aftershaves, by the one I keep coming back to is Alvarez Gomez. Probably because it's a scent I grew up with, but I must have been through a litre and a half of the stuff in the last decade, in between all manner of others.

Have also used up a stick of Palmolive, when I was a brush noob about 10 years ago. I might actually have been the only person in history to genuinely use too much product (I would scrape the stick into my stubble, and work the brush straight into that), so I got through it pretty quickly.

During December I finished off several tubs of cream that had been in the rotation for a while: Al's Boheme, AOS sandalwood and GFT coconut oil. I have replaced the AOS and GFT - both "core rotation" products. I prefer some of Al's other scents.

I did it, I did it! Watch out, soaps No comments about it being a soft soap...it's still an accomplishment.

It's fantastic stuff, but I've got too many products to work through to replace it.
