Thiers Issard 69

Hi chaps does anyone know anything about this specific TI model as its my first straight purchase of a known make. Got it from the Bay for £17 delivered wondering if that sounds right link to ebay page below. Pic isnt that great i know and doesnt show the blade particuarly well just after some opinions from the sages at B&B!

I'll jump in as a newbie just to get it started. TI is a pretty good maker that has been around for a while and one of the few companies still making quality razors today. It's hard to say much of anything about a razor from a picture until you hold it and then put it to the hone. That being said, there apears to be some hone wear on the back spine but the pic seems to show the blade edge as pretty even so it might not have that bad a smile to it. As long as the blade is in ok shape and no deep cracks in the edge it will probably hone up and shave just fine and $31 US or so isn't bad at all if it ends up being useable.
