Havent these just come out? Not too sure but I do agree the $80 is a tad bit too high for a chrome end?

I think they were just added to Lee's site but have been available here @ B&B for a while.

I think most of the people that have them say that they are well worth the $...especially since the only thing that was stopping people from buying a Progress was the cheap looking plastic knob at the end...

$33 for a knob is quite steep IMHO. Basically twice the regular cost of the razor for a knob? It is damn nice looking though:)

Although I don't own a Mergress, it is very high on my wish list.

This is what I've gleaned from reading about it on B&B:

You're buying more than just a knob and a pretty razor. The stock Progress is a great razor to begin with, but adding the knob improves the weight and balance, and hence adds to your control.

Another feature is that the razor has been calibrated so that the dial-numbers line up correctly. Also, a set-screw has been added so that your favorite setting can be locked in place.

And the numbers have been painted black for increased visibility and/or styling. (Or, left clear, if you prefer the original look.)

All in all, its a great improvement to a great razor. I can hardly wait to own one ... and I consider the $79 price from www.leesrazors.com to be quite a bargain. Remember, Lee offers free shipping to B&B members.
