proraso red, fraser's polar ice, and cella have been perfect for my hyper-sensitive skin.

Marty's right - it depends on the problem.

I find AOS unscented is great.
Proraso red works for me, so do the Trumper and Harris almond creams.

While YMMV, I find I can't use the oft-recommended Trumper coconut oil cream or the Taylor avocado cream. Other guys swear by them.

Haven't tried the Cella or either Fraser's.

    AOS Lavender works for me.
And even though it's not really marketed for sensitive skin Kent Menthol does fairly well too.
Tabac cream on the other hand... Set my face on fire.

+1. Geranium oil is also good for your skin, you could try adding a very small amount of EO to some unscented.

I wrote to Taylor of Old Bond Street and they sent me a sample of their cream for sensitive skin. I will buy some shortly, their cream is great.

Well I just get redness, I like the Tabac because it lathers great but it burns my face. I did half my face with tabac and half with honeybee spa and have decent technique down. What a difference the half of my face with tabac just really burned. I like how tabac lathers but my skin just seems to react to it. Sometimes I put soap on my face at night and just rinse and I can tell if it irritates my skin or not. Right now I have Honeybee Spa soap which is ok on my skin, I was looking to trying some creams.

the AOS unscented/lavender would be good choices.

personally, i'm very fond of floris. even though it's scented, the cream contains lots of face-friendly things like aloe and glycerin and is very mild.

i find the taylor avocado to also be very mild and easy on the skin...

    hope this helps.

The Gentlemens Refinery unscented shave cream and AS balm are great for sensitive skin IMO.

I'd give Kiss My Face Unscented a shot, great cream and cheap to boot. If that doesn't work I would try The Body Shop Shave Cream, super gentle for me and works great. If your in the US, they should be "relatively easy" to find.

I find Speick cream and Classic Shaving cream to be very mild. I don't think I have very sensitive skin but my face did not agree with any of the three T's that I've tried. (A mild itching/burning sensation to be specific.) YMMV and all that.

What he said, particularly the KMF Unscented.

The Body Shop does have a scent and scents could be your problem. Many here have found the scent to be off-putting (sort of like incense from the 1960's; think head shop). I like it, though it took a while.

My skin can get a little irritated with some creams (Prosaro Green and some lavender based crerams. I have had good success with all TOBS creams (Avacado, Rose, St. James). T&H Ultimate Comfort is very good, one of my favorites.

1: Proraso Red (which is unfortunately discontinued)
2: Art of Shaving Unscented cream (no scent, but no irritation either - and super wonderfully performing stuff)
3: Speick isn't bad, though I'm not a fan of the smell.

From my limited experience, i have only two creams to suggest and not three - Trumper's Rose cream and Taylor's Avocado cream always seem to give me less irritation than the other creams/soaps that i use
