    Default annoying trend with brushmakers,

i find it quite annoying, that you spend your well earned money on a good brush, a silvertip that costs upwards of $60 and most manufacturers wont trow in a drip stand,

come on, this cheapo brush i bought in a mercadona supermarket, paid 8 euros and got a metal drip stand, probobly means it costs 50 cents to make in china, its actually currently holding my silvertip omega, which came with a drip stand that crushed the funnel shape, so i didnt want to use it,

but if a cheap 8 euro supermarket brand pure badger brush can bring a basic drip stand, why cant a expencive brush bring one?

Because nothing is free. Cheap drip stands which many buyers would never use still cost something and that cost is going to be passed on to all buyers. If you want one, buy it.

Yep. Dry your brush standing up and you don't need to worry about a stand.

Because if they can sell a $50 brush for $200, they can also sell a $0.15 stand for $20

Stands are only for making it look pretty, nothing more.

Exactly. If I got one of those silly things every time I bought a brush, I'd be thinking to myself "thank you for needlessly clogging my local dump with this piece of plastic nonsense, that I had to pay for anyhow even though I didn't want it."
Be there or be square. Only I can do both!
I've got a cat named Beefeater and a dog named Beefeater, and two goldfish called Beefeater and Beefeater. There's Beefeater my hamster and Beefeater my horse, and my piglet, known as Beefeater of course.

Sad but true... why don't you start manufacturing your own 50 cent brushes and include a stand

    No stand?

Surely that way one's brush is left vulnerable to the Dreaded Breech Rot.

There could be a fecund fungus festering in that microbial mire down there.

    Ewwww.

I'm with Aevum. Stick the company's logo on it and the cost of the plastic is offset by the free 'publicity'.

If you really want a brush stand/holder, there are several ways to make one yourself out of items from the hardware store or even things lying around your house. Use your imagination instead of waiting on a cheap plastic piece of nonsense.
