Day after itch!

Hi there,

Sometimes if I shave close, and the next day I don't shave.. I get a bit of an itch on my face! It's hard not to scratch. I'm guessing its just dry skin?

What's the blade that you're using? Does it happen with every blade? I've had problems with the coatings on the Derby and Merkur causing that problem. Doesn't happen with a Crystal.

dont think its the blade really. i use merkur, lord or feather.

i just used some hand cream and it went away. so im guessing its just dry skin

Interesting, I thought this was a normal thing. Itching for a shave. Even though I have a goatee the rest of my face really wants to be shaved each morning.
