Replacement scales?

I would like to replace the metal scales on my Wapi with an inexpensive plastic tortoise or black one. The current setup is way too heavy. Anyone know of a place to get one online?

Also, is replacemnt difficult to do or should I send it someplace to have the work done properly?

Replacement scales are easy to come by... Robert Williams just rescaled a razor for me in giraffe bone. In the less exotic vein, you can find numerous members here and elsewhere who will rescale your razor for you with rare woods, micarta and other materials. And if you want to do it yourself, both Classic Shaving and Rasurpur sell replacement scales (Dovo and TI, respectively). Replacing them isn't terribly hard to do but unless you plan to do it regularly, I would have someone replace them for you.
