WOW! Great way to start the week! Check inside the head on that super, sometimes they hide their codes there.

Had 3 boxes waiting for me when i got home -

a near mint 1964 gold slim adjustable aka Aristocrat - pack of blades unopened and reference adjustable razor on the reverse of blade pack

a Aristocrat blue leather box with blue writing instead of the more common red/maroon. Not sure what this means or even what time frame it was used. The razor has some wear on the handle - i bought it for the box

a 1917 Aristocrat flare bottom - got it from the 'bay ,thought i could clean it up to a respectable looking razor - doesn't appear that way - will be a user

1956 Red Tip ( thanks David ) and 3 mama Bears soaps; Ocean Rain, Hydrogen and Autumn Afternoon ( thanks Jon ). The best part, I talked a guy at work into giving wet shaving a try. I am loaning him a razor and giving him some blades and Nancy Boy cream. He was complaining about the price of cartridges. He has one of those vibrating, triple bladed things. I remember those days and do not miss them.

The savon de marseille are some of my favourite soaps.

If the soaps seem soft, let them dry out for a few weeks - they last longer.

Also, if you find the blocks a little hard to handle and they're relatively soft, you can cut them in half with a knife or a piece of wire.

Just scored this 2 mins ago, sorry if I outbid someone. The Blue Star is going to be a birthday present for my sister who expressed interest in using a DE after seeing my new Fatboy.
I'll try and post better info on the mystery men's razor when It gets here, SS or Rocket?

Also I'm not sure If it's in bad form to post here before actually getting the items, just wanted to thank someone for helping out with my sister's birthday present by not bidding :-) (If it was the mystery razor you were after PM me I might be willing part with it for half of what I paid for the auction)

I am almost positive it is an SS along with your lady. It has the ring towards the bottom of the handle before the TTO, although I can't get a great view of the endcaps, so it is possible it is a brit ss or something.

Rodd, I'm stunned! That is a great set. Great score!! Shavewithwhat? Great Aristocrat also. It seems like a good week so far!

Here are some of my scores for the last week or so. I had a buddy in town and got behind on my pictures.

From the left; A really nice English Bakelite grooming set with a Bakelite Gillette? razor and the British aluminum 2 pc. NEW pictured in the open case.

A blue Lady Gillette, a couple 40's style SS's, a very nice gold NEW and a G-bar (not pictured) from a lot I got.

A couple 4 packs of Schick 2002 DE blades from AACJ, a 6 pack of Personna twin Injector blades, a 10 pack of Schick Thin DE blades, a minty Schick Grip!, and a '54 TV with a Z-4 code. Whew....

..... oh yah, and a Red Dot Fat Boy D-1 prototype from jtoddaz that nearly completes my adjustable collection.

Wow Chris! Did the TV have the instructions like you were hoping? Either way that was a steal. I love the red dot! I have been looking for one myself. Pretty amazing haul!
