W Greaves & Sons - rework and restoration

I picked this little beauty in Hawaii while I was there and like most things there it was rusted. Had I known what I know now I most likely not have purchased it even for the $5 I got it for



The rust was easy enough to deal with but after cleaning it looked like the surface of the moon.



But I guess it all had a happy ending.

What a awesome BN you turned that into. What scales are those?

They are zebra wood scales that I made for it. Standard scales would not fit because the blade is 1" longer than most.

That is a great looking razor!

Now you're really trying to rub it in---"while in Hawaii..."

and then finish it off with a beauty razor.

I'm chuffed....

Well, considering the results, if you're still unhappy with your investment, I'd gladly take that off your hands for the $5 you paid, and postage on top.
