Default B&B 2008 Limited Edition Brush Orders CLOSED!!

B&B 2008 Limited Edition Brush ***ORDERS CLOSED***

(If you would like more information on this brush, read this)

Within the next day or two, we'll be placing our order with Kent, and they'll begin pumping out these works of art. The good news is, for those of you that have been diligently waiting, gift certificate in hand, you'll be one step closer to exchanging that certificate for a B&B Limited Edition Brush. The bad news is, for you procrastinators, it's now or never.

Final warning, by this time tomorrow, Thursday at the latest, the order process will be cut off.

    Below are the ordering instructions:

    Payment/Order Info:
(Note: read ALL of the information below before placing your order)

The cost of each brush is $140 (Which factors in the bulk shipping to us, paypal fees, etc) and since we have to front the money for the order - once your order is placed, it is not refundable however if something goes awry and we can't get the brushes, etc - you will receive a refund. Shipping will be a flat $10 for members in the U.S. - and will be calculated on an individual basis for those in other countries, based on our cost.

Note: You will have to create an "account" in the shopping cart system to checkout. Make sure to put your correct shipping information in your "account" as that will be the address it will be shipped to.

The only means of payment right now are paypal. It is unlikely we'll accept other methods, however if you are a "special case" please contact us and we'll try to work something out with a money order or the like.

To order a brush if you are a resident of California - create a gift certificate to/from yourself for $162.38 (The brush, shipping and tax) HERE making sure to put "B&B Limited 2008" and the date which you placed the order in the "Message" section.

To order a brush if you are in the USA in any state BUT CA - create a gift certificate to/from yourself for $150.00 (The brush and shipping) HERE making sure to put "B&B Limited 2008" and the date which you placed the order in the "Message" section.

To order a brush if you reside outside of the U.S.A. - create a gift certificate to/from yourself for $140.00 (The price of the brush) HERE making sure to put "B&B Limited 2008" and the date which you placed the order and the country in which you reside in the "Message" section. Prior to shipping the brushes, we will contact you with the shipment cost to your shipping address. Note: We have to put the value of the shipment on the customs forms - this is non-negotiable.

Special Note: This is NOT the B&B Essential shaving brush - pics/info comparing the two can be found HERE.

    Alright fellas.... let 'er rip!

I'm gonna have to miss this. The USA holiday has tightened the purse strings right up. I hope to find one of these on the 2nd hand market in the future.

If it makes you feel better, I'm in your boat too. Unexpected flight from Saipan to Boston followed up by the roaming bill for all the calls in the 48 hours leading up to it has put the brakes on a lot of things.

So excited that these bad boys are finally going into production. Come on guys. If you're still on the fence, it's time to let gravity take over!

I jumped off the fence and ordered one today. I currently have a few of the AOS starter bushes from the $100 kit. They have worked very well for a few years. Can someone tell me what to expect from this special brush? Is it better for soaps or creams? I am slowly leaning towards soaps. Thanks B&B for this offer, now the wait begins.

    Soaps
    *AOS Lavender
    C&E Sandalwood
    C&E Siena
    *L'Occitane Cade

    Creams
    AOS Unscented
    *AOS Lavender
    AOS Lemon
    TOBS St. James
    TOBS Avocado
    Proasso Green
    *GFT Coconut
    *C&E Sweet Almond Oil
    C&E Siena
    C&E Sandalwood
    C&E Nomad

Both according to what I have heard. The 2006 brushes were, in my opinion, better for creams because the brushes were on the floppier side. The 2008 brush however, is going to be sturdier and if the Essential brush is any indication, will rock and roll up some great lather on soaps.

For those of us who grew up on vacuum tubes rather than microchips and have had some negative experiences with computers, it it possible to publish a list of those whose applications for the SE2008 were successfully processed? Then if we don't see our name on the list we'll have a last chance to re-submit.
Better to be safe than sorry!

In short, no. There's no way to do it without releasing a list of proper names instead of just usernames.

If you received a gift certificate in the email, your pre-order went through successfully.

    Yours went through successfully ex-bugonaut.

I just checked back on my email from when i bought the Gift certificate/brush; you should see a payment recp't and a gift certificate. I think there were several emails sent in a row of this variety, so it should be pretty easy to tell that it went through (I'm relieved!)
