Default Try this on for size

Soooo I had my second DE shave today although not as good as day one but still damn good. So I did my pre poraso, tabac soap than post poraso and just before I left for work I splashed on some Clubmans and jumped on the Harley and headed to work. All I can say is The cool feeling on my face during the ride and by the time I got to work, man there is nothing better than a smooth cool face in the morning I think I'll do it again tomorrow

I've got everything but the bike, but that's coming soon. Now I have one more excuse to get one thanks to you: so I can fully enjoy a refreshing shave as the wind caresses my face. Thanks mate .

sorry, this just strikes me as odd. The first time I attended the Love Ride (muscular dystrophy? Largest fund raising bike ride in the us or world I guess...) I was amazed by all the check book bikers. All these people that look like they only ride their Harley Davidson bikes once a year, with the HD jackets, HD boots, HD head bands... I looked like scum standing their with some worn 501s and a T shirt.

Not that there is anything wrong with being clean shaven, excuse me BBS shaven and riding a harley, it just seems a bit odd.
I don't have enough money to be eccentric, right now I'm just weird.

Don't take this the wrong way (just my .02) To each's own. It's just an image. I am no RUB (rich urban biker). I ride every day to work on weekends and whenever I feel like it. I am no 3 piece biker nor do I belong to a club. I bought my bike used, striped it down and modified it myself. I am a lone wolf and ride because I enjoy riding, I don't care what others think nor do I let people's image rule me. I have half sleeve tat's on both arms, smoke cigars and drink with the best of them. I am who I am take it or leave it. I am here to please myself not anyone else. I just discovered this great hobby from Pete on my cigar forum. Now I enjoy a nice clean shave and will continue to do so because I like it and will ride my bike after doing so if I choose. If you feel that you have to be and look rugged to ride your harley than that's your image and you do what you feel you need to do.

    My bike when I bought

    Striped down for 2 months

    After all my mods

cool! Sorry I got an image of a banker biker. Not that there is anything wrong with that, heck wish I could qualify! I don't try to look rough or tough, I just am who I am, I'm 6'4" I tend to intimidate a lot of people even though I have NO intention of doing so, acutally that was one good thing about when I cut off my long hair, I didn't make little old ladies grab their purses quite as much. I would actually feel guilty half the time (I will admit I would laugh the other half). Cheers to you!

LOL yup I know what you mean. That is the biggest problem we have now a day's is people so quick to judge others. And yes I am one of them as I always have to laugh when riding and I see the RUB's on the road knowing what they paid for there bikes and gear and what I paid for mine

Well adding to this conversation I grew up in Sturgis, which if you are a biker then you know what that means. I'm here to tell you all sorts ride bikes and what binds them is their love of the machine and the open road. Everyone from bankers to bartenders, cops to outlaws, Hells Angels to Christian clubs. All flavors, colors and creeds end up in Sturgis. Not everyone lives the biker lifestyle year round, but if you've got a bike and you ride then you're a biker IMO.

BTW you told us about the tats and the half shirts, but you didn't say anything about bib-overalls . I've got a pair too; I'm just stickin' it to ya a little.

Guess I don't know where I fall in this..
I am a strong family man, a Christian, a director at a major corporation, tattoo'd (though don't have the great 1/2 sleeves of -PO- , and a biker. All in all, I just want to be a man of integrity that treats others with respect, a good husband, a good dad, and a person that enjoys lots of good rides. So, don't know if that makes me a RUB or not.. if it does, I guess I am I've been called alot worse ..
