Finished off another sample today - MyTimeBathandBody Bay Rum Classic Shaving Cream.

Jean's tallow based shaving creams are truly excellent and have a consistency which is more dense than normal English creams, but a tad less dense than Castle Forbes. The Bay Rum Classic is a nice scent, but as the name implies it is one of her interpretations of various Bay Rum scents. The scent, to me, had a balance of Bay Rum and anise to it. It was a unique scent which I found quite appealing.

I haven't used the Progress much lately, but it really impresses me with close but mild shaves. I keep it dialed down pretty low/mild, but it does an exceptional job. It might be my best shaving razor (hopefully my Chatsworths aren't listening...).

Alot of irration from the Dorco's. Exact same setup except using Derby Extra gives a great BBS shave in 2 passes. 3 passes with the Dorco's give a serviceable shave.
