For those that use a shavette...

Do you find that blades last only half as long using a shavette as those used in a DE? The reason is obvious, but for some reason I am able to get the same amount of shaves from either tool.

My shavette gives me as much blade life as one would logically expect. About 2/3 shaves per blade half.

Perhaps yours is magic?

2 or 3 shaves per half sounds about right, but sometimes I might go for 4 or 5, mainlt because I still cant really tell when I should switch
