Default 7am blades - Are they any good?

Does anyone have any experience with these blades?

They seem to be a decent price, but I'd like some kind of review before I buy.

I tried to search if anyone had posted on this brand before, but the search engine drops "7am" because it's "too short."

    Thanks

Thanks, but are they the same brand? The review is for "7 o'clock", the ones I was looking at are "7a.m.", and the packaging is different.

They are different blades than the 7 o'clock.
    See them here

    They aren't bad. Pretty sharp.
That seemed like a lower end feather to me.

I think they are on version three. The v1 ones were kind of terrible, v2 was much better. I think v3 added a new coating.

I have some of these, but I just received them last week and haven't tried them. They were dirt cheap , $0.75 for a 5-pack, which is amazing considering a handful of people made a profit on them along the way.

Here's the description from the site where I ordered them:

Appreciated for their sharpness, the 7AM blades are made using Swedish steel on modern manufacturing equipment. Plated with chromium and platinum for sharpness and durability. Made on Wilkinson machinery.

    Jake,

Here is a great review of these blades (first review listed) as well as reviews of most popular blades.

Just follow the link listed with 7am blades in the list.

I got around to trying the 7am's today, and was pleasantly surprised. I thought I had only junk left in my sampler pack, but I was wrong.

The 7am's didn't do better than my current favorites (feather, israeli red pack) but they came very close. And at 75 cents for a 5 pack, they're an incredible value.

(I just looked up the price of feathers for the first time. crikey! they're 3 times the price of the 7am's! i wouldn't say the feathers are 3 times better. on the other hand, it's the difference between 1.50 and 4.50, not exactly bank breaking money )

    Default Seven a. m.

Yes, The seven a. m. blades are good. A fellow sent me 38 of these in the mail. I figured that they would not be very good. But I liked them and kept using them. I was about ready to make a post as you did to find out if others like these blades. The old pro 'Squire' at Shavemyface.com gave a good review on these blades.

These blades are reasonably sharp, smooth, thin, and do not last more than 3 shaves. The average was about 2 shaves. Basically the same as the sharp's, but not quite as smooth.

All around, they are a buy at .10 a blade. I wouldn't spend much more than that.

I bought 100 of these after reading reviews of the 7 o'clock blades, thinking they were the same ones. I have not tried them yet, but I think I will in the morning.

Default Blades came with my Parker

The 7AM blades came with my Parker. I have used them twice and got a really close and smooth shave both times.
