I haven't seen any comment on the "new" Gillette Breeze here though. It consist of a huge lubricating, uh, spunge at either ends of the blades. Including lubricating strip before and after the blades. WHAT is the point of having a lubricating strip AND SPONGE after you've passed the area?

I have two telephones in my home.......both were made in Chicago in 1941.
I used cordless, plastic, pieces of crap for 20 years before I finally got tired of replacing my Chinese made phones every couple of years.
Now I am tethered when I get a phone call and have to take the time to spin the rotary when making an outgoing, but I hear beautiful brass bells ringing when a call comes in and.....I am using incredibly well constructed, American made products built to last a life time whenever I talk on the phone....with receivers weighty enough to immobilize home invaders.
As for the being tethered thing.......if you have me on the phone for more than 5 minutes you just got me for 3 minutes longer than most folks!
Sometimes New and Improved is only.........New.![]()
