    Default WTT - 1904 for 1940's SS

Ok. A helpful member (thanks, rodd) has alerted me that there is no such thing as a two piece Merkur Classic, alas. So, now, I'm trying to swap this razor for a pre date code 1940's superspeed. I'd like it to be in fairly decent shape without a lot of brassing. I'm just not a huge fan of three piece razors, although the 1904 is a neat razor, and this one's in excellent shape. I think I used it three times, if that. Please PM me if interested and thanks. (If it's a nice razor I'd be happy to pay shipping or something.)

Bump again. Anyone selling a 1940's SS, and willing to take a 1904 to defray the sale price?

Could you please post some pictures of your razor. I think I have an extra 1940's SS around here. If not, I know I have another 1940's SS in a lot of razor that is in the mail. If I have one here, I'll post some pics also.

    Thanks,
    BJ

I don't have ay pics of the actual razor, but it's identical to any new 1904 you'd find - I think there are images at Lee's Razors. That's where I got it, about 3 months ago. I suppose I could take a picture with my phone, but it'd be pretty bad. (My camera's at the bottom of the Corpus Christi bay, at the moment.)
