    Default The English G...

Her's a nice little English G Bar that Alfred (Barbarosa) kindly sold me a WHILE back. It came with the original case and blade holder both of which are in really nice shape. The English Ever Ready G Bar has no "G" in the circle like its American counterpart which technically makes it the non G Bar. Same weight and finish quality as the American version--a real beauty I think.

I recently acquired one of the English G bars in gold finish. Can't wait until it gets here.

i've always been very curious about the GEM g-bar. it's a neat looking razor and i've been curious how they compare to vintage gillettes in terms of comfort & closeness.

one of these days, i need to grab one and find out!

The Ever Ready G Bar also came in a gold plated version. One was listed recently on Ebay.I find the G Bars inferior to the Gem 1912s and Micromatics as shavers, but YMMV. Lots of other guys love them.
