    Default Online Shaving Supply Stores

    Hi All,

I'm looking to purchase some shaving supplies online and was wondering if anyone had a good e-store recommendation?

I purchased a Merkur safety razor and a brush from the Art of Shaving a while back. I've been using their lavender products, but I want to try out some shaving soap and other products. I'm looking for an online shave store where I could purchase everything I need, blades, mugs, soaps, aftershaves etc. Wanted to see what the Badger and Blade community recommends before I make any purchases.

    Thanks for the help!

Check out the shopping sub-forum... there's a sticky there that will be useful. Too many great etailers for me to make a specific recomendation to you and it all depends on what you want to buy.

    Zebe, welcome to B&B!

You didn't say what country you live in, so that may affect suggestions (as, while the internet can travel anywhere anytime, it can be a bit more bothersome for those packages of soap and aftershave to follow along across borders and through customs ... )

Anyhow, you've already been pointed to the Shopping Links page ...

    but... check out

Be there or be square. Only I can do both!
I've got a cat named Beefeater and a dog named Beefeater, and two goldfish called Beefeater and Beefeater. There's Beefeater my hamster and Beefeater my horse, and my piglet, known as Beefeater of course.

Amazon.com is usually a good place to go. Even if you don't buy you can read user reviews to get objective opinions. Also you can link to several 3rd party stores you might not have been aware existed. I always check Amazon even though I don't always purchase from them. I've received great customer service from www.vintagebladesllc.com. Good luck.

Well, no one site has everything... But I'll throw a recommendation out for http://www.leesrazors.com He has fast delivery, good selection of gear, and excellent customer service. Plus he's based in Long Island, NY so shipping to you in Boston should be extra quick.

Should have looked online first. They charge a LOT for stuff at AOS. Not trying to rub it in, just really impressed with this online shop:

You can go to a brick and mortar store in Cambridge, called Colonial Drug, I know you asked for an etailer, but they have a very nice store.

Also, in Boston at Quincy Market, there is a knife store that sells Merkur/Dovo stuff. Razors and blades, the blades there were 5.50 for a pack, so I got two. Service sucked there though, the sales guy was on the phone the whole time and didn't even acknowledge me.

Other than that, what everyone else said.
