pomade good for your hair?

in my quest to find the right hair product for me i thought i'd try my hand with a pomade.

looking at the ingredients, most of which are familiar oils and lanolin, it seems that pomades would be quite beneficial for the hair.

is this true of pomade?

I never noticed any difference in my hair when I used it. It's been a long time though.

Most pomades contain petroleum jelly ( vasoline ) and mineral oil ( different amounts for various weights) and are quite simple to make if you have a dispenceries nearby.I find that anything that emulsifies with heat leaks down the hair to the skin and clogs the pores,which argueably is not good .GOOD LUCK WASHING THIS OUT !This is also the cause of all those dark stains on your collars and pillows lol sticky attracts dirt.
Healthy for your hair ....I dont know about that but LAYRITE pomade is water based and washes out easily and it is preffered by folks that use alot of it daily!
