I like the simplicity of the 1932 Tech 3 piece razor but find the shave too tame. Is there any way to make it more aggressive? The only thing I can think of is make a shim by cutting the edges of an existing DE razor blade and use that under another regular DE razor blade. Anybody else have any ideas?

Please don't do that
... just get a more aggressive razor. You might like an open comb razor. Try a NEW or an old type.
the shim is your best bet. unless you want to strop an unused early 1900s gillette blade and loosen the screw a bit.
Or.. and note I do not recommend this... just loosen the handle a bit. But, Techs are just fine as they are for my face.
