FS: 1972 EXTRA minty gillette long-handle super adjustable with case

hello everyone,
i'm selling a 1972 extra minty long handle super adjustable with case. it's in such good condition, the only ones i've seen that are better are NOS and have never been used. of course, there is no brassing and the numbers are good and black. the handle is perfect with no scrapes or nicks. the case is also in excellent shape, although it does have 2 small scuffs on the outer edge.

if you've wanted a close-to-new super adjustable, this might be just what you're looking for. i'm asking $50 which includes CONUS shipping because of the pristine nature of the razor. it's absolutely beautiful.

it's so nice, i almost kept it for myself, but i'm more of a fixed blade guy, so i'm hoping it goes to a good home...

Holy crappoly!! Nice one there! Long handles are really hard to find.

By the way, people, the Super Adjustable that is usually seen is the short handle which is about the length of the Slim Adjustible, maybe a hair longer. This razor is the second longest made by Gillette as far as I know. It virtually the same length as the Gillette Knack and only shorter than the Lady Gillette.

Really? I must have good luck. Finding one this mint is a different story, but I have found more long handle than short. Both great razors.

Cool. I found a long hanle myself today. I finally have an example of every Gillette adjustable (minus the 195), long and short Super, Fatboy, Slim and the Knack and Lady all at one time. I'm planning on a group shot to compare lengths.

I am still working on my collection. I need the toggle in nickel and gold, and the 195 for the adjustables, but I am too poor. I have the long with the metal and the plastic head bottom. Was the short produced with both? Both of mine have had the metal bottom.

at $45 this should be gone now.
