    Default F L O R I S - absolute wow

so i got a sampler of floris scents and holy cow, one is better than the next. the mrs. and i both agree that santal is amazing and the rest are outstanding as well.

leave it to me. i get truefit samplers. i get trumper samplers. what do i like the best? what happens to be one of the most expensive colognes i can like.

    grrr.

fortunately, my expensive taste is mitigated by my love for clubman. a whole 12oz. bottle of joy for only $5.99!

it's been a long time since AV. it never really did anything for me. i always rather thought it smelled like windex.

old spice is good, though. and my father always wore canoe, which has a similar spicy powdery scent as the pinaud i enjoy.

but the floris santal is amazing. complex and changing.

actually, floris is cheap compared to caron, creed and penhaligons,

Floris is quite affordable. Santal is a favorite of mine as well. Enjoy it up on Old Rocky Top.

The Elite seems to be very love it or hate it, so if you love it you can find some really great deals if you look around. 1perfume has a 3.4 oz EDT AND a 3.4 oz balm together for $50. Also, the Floris site has a summer sale going on which has an Elite gift set which includes EDT, Balm, shower gel, and shave cream.

if that's cheap, i don't want to see expensive!

hence my aqua velva suggestion AXE is another alternative and you already have the old spice....

You don't shower in perfume, or if you do you really shouldn't. So yes the price of admission is not peanuts, but it really isn't all that expensive. Just compare to other things you spend your money on....

The Vetiver is out of this world. I'm glad I got it before the price increase.

Shoplondon has no discount prices. If you want a deal you have to look around. Try a search at shopping.yahoo.com . The best deals I found were at 1stperfume.. (the rest of the products in the line are listed below the featured product - good deals on soap and other things) And it looks like they have the $50 gift set of EDT and Balm for Santal too...

Was that price for the Santal Extreme (Eau de Parfum) or the regular Eau de Toilette?

Unfortunately, the Santal gift set hasn't been in stock in ages...what a shame.

Looks like the Elite isn't either... It said 'availability: yes' so I assumed it was in stock... didn't try putting it into my cart.

beginning to look like maybe none of it is in stock.

Be there or be square. Only I can do both!
I've got a cat named Beefeater and a dog named Beefeater, and two goldfish called Beefeater and Beefeater. There's Beefeater my hamster and Beefeater my horse, and my piglet, known as Beefeater of course.

That is why i do not even bother with 1st perfume. they use this tecnqique of misleading advertisement with a lot of vintage and hard to find fragrances. While this company has a bad reputation on Basenotes, I have never had any expirience butying from them... becaus they NEVER have what I want to buy and they claim to sell

At these prices, I'll be left wearing gasoline.

I have had no luck getting any floris samples. I emailed about a month ago and got no response, emailed again a week or so later and got an email saying that they were going to contact their U.S. distributer and that I would be hearing from them shortly and never recieved an email or samples. I email floris again 2 days ago and haven't got a response yet. Has this been the case with anyone else? This thread makes me want the samples even more.

Similar thing happened to me... Apparently the new U.S. distributor (Londons Bathecary) has decided to discontinue the sampling program. I was able to get some samples sent out though after someone here on B&B recommended contacting Debra at [email protected] and asking. Might be worth checking with her to see if she's got any stock left.
