I just picked up an old type Gillette at my local antique mall, but I think I have a mismatched set. It came in a brown case with red velvet lining and a gold blade case. However, the razor is silver, and looks identical to the one in the picture in the Shave wiki for the military issue khaki set.

Were these kinds of old types made other than during the war years? There is no date code or patent number or any identification on the razor at all.
