Default Just learned a lesson today... Porasso and Kiss My Face DONT MIX well.

    DISCLAIMER... as always YMMV

I have been amazed by how little Porasso it takes to get plenty of nice lather. I have been slowly reducing the amount I put on my brush until today.
I ended up with a bit less lather than I like, so I reached for the tube, when I had an Idea.
I really liked the smell of the mint KMF cream... Why not put a bit of that on my brush with the Porasso?

Well, it smelled nice, and lathered up fine, but it had almost no lubrication to it at all. I couldn't figure it out at first, but then I scooped some up on my fingers and felt of it. Just foam, not slick at all. I added more and more water and it still wasn't very slick.

I dumped the whole batch and started over with porasso by itself, and all was well.

Now I have used KMF and it worked pretty well by itself too. I guess the two just don't get along for some reason... Strange!

    Strange indeed.
    YMMV? I don't think so.

Hmmm . . . I have used the unscented KMF several times with a Proraso lather to just firm it up a little, and had no problems.

+1 I've used Proraso and KMF Mint together a few times and love it, works fine for me.
