Meh not a fan of the Dead. Its also way before my time. Id put quite a few American bands before them such as: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Aerosmith, GNR, Nirvana, Peal Jam, Metallica, CCR, The Eagles, Bruce Springsteen...etc, etc.
