well, to get the best shave, you have to find the right degree of agresivity, and for that, you need to find the right blade for the right razor,

I haven't used a LOT of different blades, but the Feather blade cuts whiskers like an ax through Spam. Just hacked away a week-old beard with the 39C and Feather. No tugs, no pain...aahhhh.
