Jet.com and SuperSafetyRazors - False Advertising (350 Kai blades: $40) Yuck!

700 Blades for $40*

I saw that link last night and figured what the hey, too good to be true right?

I bought both orders. I spoke to the company who fulfilled the order, "Super Safety Razors". They denied any knowledge, any responsibility of and claim the title says 50 instead of 350:

Super Safety People seem like honorable people. I wouldn't fault them for this. Jet made a mistake. Kai razorblades are incredibly expensive. On Amazon, they're $36.00 for a hundred. It's clear that 350 blades for less than $25.00 had to be a typo. There isn't a blade on the planet that I know of that is that cheap.

They say if it looks too good to be true it probably is - it looks very suspicious.

Sounds like they will make it right for you. Fingers crossed for a positive resolution.

Regardless of the source of the misprint, they should still just give you a full refund or a partial refund and allow you to keep them while they figure out what's going on and then they can fight with Jet to reimburse. That would be customer service now that absurd back and forth.

I've had poor experiences with 2/3 orders from Jet. Their third party vetting seems woefully insufficient. You don't know which third party vendor is fulfilling the order until it has been shipped. It would need to be a can't miss deal for me to buy from Jet again. Hope you resolve your issue!
