ANOTHER GOOD SHAVE THIS MORNING WITH B&M CHANGING TO USE RR MUDDER FOCKER TOMORROW. I RESEARCHED A LITTLE AND NOTICED THAT SOME FOUGERE SCENTS WERE CONSIDERED BARBERSHOP SCENTS. MUDDER FOCKER HAS A LOT GOING ON IN IT'S PROFILE JUST AS IN A BARBERSHOP

The base notes of the Mudder Focker definitely remind me of Barbershop. I have not used that soap yet, but I would classify it for sure as barbershop based off of the basenotes

DEC 9: Godrej round. This is a wonderful barbershop soap from India. And very, very inexpensive! A great performer!

Dec 8 - Barbershop

Well, my barbershop selection is a bit of a longshot, but leather, coffee and sandalwood could be reminiscent of a barbershop! Leather chairs, guys drinking coffee sitting around talking with the faint aroma of sandalwood AS lingering in the air?
Finished off with some Clubman to seal the deal.

Very nice shave. I have not spent much time with this soap, but it performs great. The scent is quite interesting and kind of grows on you...

Another pleasant shave with Tiki Bar today, my nose is still not working right from this lingering cold and I have yet to smell this soap! I remember smelling it when it first came in and it was a faint scent and I'm hoping to get a few whiffs before we move on to the next theme.

I visited a French Barbershop today!

After D.R. Harris' Arlington and ToBS Mr. Taylor, I am changing barbershop but remain in England with Truefitt Trafalgar.

I really like themes around here. Having bought a dozen soaps and aftershaves in the last 3 weeks I welcome any relief I can get in deciding which soap next to use. I can now see clearly!

Here is my 1st string for the rest of the month.
- Barbershop based scents - Proraso Green Cream
- Sandalwood based scents - Italian Barber Sandalwood
- Pine, Spruce, Birch, Juniper, etc you get the idea I hope - Henri and Victoria Lumberjack
- Something new or something forgotten Catie's Bubbles Le Piment de la Vie and Henri et Victoria Absynthe.

So today is still following the Barbershop theme. The artisan says this is there rendition on Barbershop. To my nose it smells like fresh linen and cool breeze. I absolutely love this soap for performance and scent but I wouldn't call it barbershop.




Get ready! On Tuesday we switch to Sandalwood.
