    Default FS: 3 starter kits

I bought some razors not so long ago for the Hungarian wet shavers over here. There are some razors left that I would like to offer for the B&B members as I am facing cash flow problems and cannot afford to pay for some other razors - RAD...

So, here is the deal. Each kit consists of the following items:

    - 1 new Lux saftey razor (is similar to the Gillette Tech)

    - 1 bristle brush

    - 3 x app. 30 g shaving cream (Solo, Derby and Nivea)

    - and 3 packs of blades (5 Derbies, 10 Crystals and 10 Lords)

    See picture attached for details.

I am asking $35 + shipping cost for each pack - as the HUF is at record strength. At the moment I can only accept Paypal. PM me if interested!

(I am in time zone CET = GMT + 1, so expect reply accordingly)

    Thanks for watching!

Yeah, I'm seeing the same thing.

I began posting some starter sets as well, but have only sold one, despite the frequent requests I've seen from noobs wanting cheap razors and supplies. I would have jumped all over these types of sets a few months back. I have a hard time selling the stuff for less than it cost me to put together.

You'd think that someone would appreciate getting a complete set - delivered to their door- for what it wold cost them to go out and get it themselves. LOTS of views, but no comments at all. Go figure.

As someone that just started wetshaving after finding this site, I think I can comment. I did not come here expecting a find such a great deal like that. I came here for information only and then bought my razor etc from another source. Soon after, someone on this board offered a similar deal for a noob set. I would have LOVED to buy that instead of stuff I already bought. Timing is everything. I did not discover the BST and the wonderful deals until after I had already purchased my equipment.

Do not be disappointed that no one is grabbing these up. Timing might just be off. Good luck to you.

At the risk of offending, here's why someone hasn't snapped this up - the e-bay prices for the items you're offering are as follows:

    Lux Razor - $7 - $8
    Boar Brush - $1 - $2
    Derby Cream - $4 - $5
    Nivea Cream - $4 - $5
    Sol Cream - $4 - $5
    Blades - $3 - $4

    Total: $23 - $29

While you've aggregated the purchases and shipping, even at $35 with shipping, its just not a great deal for a collection of very average products - at $15 or $20 shipped, this would be a ok deal, but at $35 you're basically charging full e-bay price plus shipping for this stuff.

    Thanks for the comments guys!

The problem is that shipping from here - Hungary - to another country, esp. to the USA is pretty pricy! And with $35 I am just at the cost of purchase...
