Hi Everyone

Hi everyone,
I have just joined today as I have been given a gillette double edge razor.
I have tried to identify it but I have not been able to find a similar one.
Is there a sub forum or thread specifically for identifying them? or where would I be best looking?
I cannot seen to see a date stamp on it.

EDIT: on further google research I think I have found it. The Aluminium (slim) handled tech. It looks pretty much identical however the piece I have is not date stamped. Could it be that part has been replaced. It still has the design running along the side of the piece just no date.

Thanks. I found a post in here which has been so helpful. I've narrowed it down to either 1963 Aluminium Handle Tech or 1967 Sportsman tech Razor. Either way it's awesome.

The old Gillette Superspeeds, Techs, Fatboys, Slims, and others give awesome shaves. (I have a 1952 Gillette Superspeed Blacktip with an aluminum handle. It was made during the Korean War when all brass was being rationed to make military ordnance.) It's an awesome razor! Welcome aboard sir.
