Ingrown Hairs from pre-DE Shaving?

I've finally realised why my neck bleeds like crazy when I shave with my DE: ingrown hairs.

I've had a search and am certain that these were from my cartridge shaving days, so it's not a case (at least at this stage) of poor DE technique.

Can anyone give me some advice for getting rid of them?

An ingrown hair is an ingrown hair, whether it's caused by a DE or a cartridge. If the above-mentioned product does not work for you, try Barc Bump-Down.
