Acqua Di Parma sample

I don't know if I can say this or not, but I purchased a 20ml sample of Acqua Di Parma at $13.99 from the bay. I couldn't pass it up. Do you guys think I got taken?

Sounds like you are really excited to get it, so personally I wouldn't worry whether or not I overpaid.

20 ml is .67 oz. The container is 5 oz and runs about $65. This means that the person selling it got about 7.5 samples from the jar at a product cost of about $8.50 each. This doesn't consider the containers he/she used to send them in nor the time to prepare, package, and mail the sample to you. So, no you didn't get taken. The person doing this might have made four bucks off of you if that.

I've seen Martin de Candre and other high end product samples go for high prices as well, so it's about right.
