Just out of curiosity, which number nib did you "scathe"? My favorite is a 9788, but 9668 is quite good too, among others.
Yes, Anderson Pens has them. I really haven't had trouble with assorted eBay sellers, but then, I may only have bought two or three Esterbrook nibs separate from the pens. But that's another possibility. In some cases, you may find an entire fixer-upper Esterbrook that is worth getting just for the nib, swapping it over to your current pen. The claim of NOS is helpful in not getting a dud, at least if it comes from a trusted seller like Anderson's, but good enough photographs on a good enough used deal on eBay may get you what you want.
