6/2 was the speed when I started in cable 9 years ago.
Yeah, I have tested it since. It has gone as high as 15 down and 1 up. It is unfortunate that I live in a small town. Time Warner is the only game in town.

Are you on a DSL line by any chance?
That's about the only place you see Down and Up speeds so close to each other.
90 up / 6 down / 13ms Ping hitting a server that is about 50 miles away.
