Prep - Noxzema / Hot towel
Pre shave - Prep
Razor – Hone 15
Blade – Gillette Nacet
Brush - New Forest Tubby 1 Finest
Soap – Phoenix and Beau Denali
Post - Witch Hazel

a very mild, irritation free shave... but took quite a while to achieve a BBS finish.... and I'm sure that Denali is getting colder.:w00t:

Use the Denali cautiously ... autumn leads to winter....

Mystic Water - Bay Rum
Zenith Manchurian
RazoRock Wunderbar Slant | Triad Rolling Hex 316 Stainless
Treet Platinum Super Stainless (1)
Derby City Chop Shop - Winter Reserve

Prep - Warm shower with Tesori d'Oriente Sandalo del Kashmir & Vetivere
Pre - Van Yulay P/S Oil massage before brush prep/ loading
Soap - VY Achilles
Brush - Wolf Whiskers Bespoke Papal Commemorative Silvertip
Razor - Merkur 37C slant
Blade - Gillette 7o'clock Super Stainless (3)
Method - 4-pass WTG/XTG/XTG/ATG
Post - Massage with leftover lather and VY Achilles A/S splash
Wax - Honest Amish multi-purpose Wax

This scent is another winrar in my book, tobaccoey and sweet bourboney at the name time. Same performance from the P/S as with the straight, a BBS 4-pass with only one touch-up around the more on my chin for a perfect shave to start off the day. I may be Van Yulay-crazy right now. I don't have one scent my wife doesn't like!

Weber DLC razor
Gillette 365 blade
Shave Revolution Evo brush
TSD Lemongrass SS w/2x menthol
Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
TSD Lemongrass A/S w/2x menthol

A face freezer shave to start the day and I liked it. Surprised by the 365 blade in a good way. Smooth, sharp and comfortable giving me a fantastic shave. I have 2 of these blades and will use them in different razors to see how much I like them and how long they last. Now go enjoy your day folks

Fine description of your chilling SOTD. Thanks.

Sorry guys... Didn't get an ad together. Saw it too late.

Great shave... After changing the blade on the second pass. Tried to make the Treet work... Different razor and all... Guess it's not for me.
The 7 o'clock yellow worked great. Smooth and effortless...

Hope you have a good night!

Monday had a fine group of photos and posts to start off the week, gentlemen. Thanks to both photographers and writers for their SOTDs.

@skypsyd - Exquisite photo, Dave!
@Dagwoodz - Love that compact horizontal, Josh. And the subtlety....
@DblD - Nice tableau. A might fine looking micromatic.
@Venator - Welcome, First Timer! A fine setup you have. Don't be a stranger now that your toes are wet.
@Cash_Stronomer - What b&w does for a photo! The starkness .. c'est magnifique! Nice bowl....
@blexa - Really neat combination of the old and the new, scents and implements.
@Pope_Peanut_IX - Very nice handles on brush and razor. Interesting scuttle. Not sure I'd want to shave with a badger, no matter how soft....
@UngerWoo - Sophisticated shave.
@eezee - If I want a nice, comfortable, drama-free shave the 34C is the weapon of choice! What's the "M" like? I've never tried a BR scent.
@mcdig - That is one ultra cool shave, Mark. Looks like it's resting on a piece of the Arctic.
@Rusty Blade - Dramatic cropping. Love it! Should we begin calling you Magneto The Great?
@CT23 - Splendiferous harmony, Chris....
@imcndn - Enticing shave.
@ram57 - Rich colors. Interesting frame!
@Bobcat - Nicely shaded shot, Bob. Winning combo.
@cmh737- Eye-catching red/white/blue composition, Chris. Nice straight.
@shm - This is a fun shot, Søren. Fine sepia-like tones.
@Sdm84 - Glad you're back at it. The GEM can certainly mow it down.
@blzrfn - Beautiful picture, Dave. Very nice Eclipse Red Ring. How does it shave?
@readyz - Nice setup, Zalan. I like that brush.
@doc47 - Another great looking shave, Dan. I really covet the Brushcraft.
@Jnatcat - Very intriguing razor, Will. Looks wicked. How did you like its performance?
@noahpictures - Great angle on the razor. Nice bowl.
@ram57 - You should have a great lather with that bowl!
@Hanover - Talk about combining elements! Sharp, Mark!
@120inna55 - Lovely shot, Matt.
@YourGunshowTix - Cry Havoc, indeed! Really like your layout.
@Quink - How's the Florena cream? I'm not sure I've seen it before.

Monday was just a harbinger and I'm looking forward to the rest of the week. Good evening, gents.
