I won't eat Miracle Whip. I don't go for store shelf stable mayonnaise, either.
Now, a freshly made mayonnaise that needs to be refrigerated? You're talking about some mighty tasty stuff, there!

I was weened on tater salad made with Miracle Whip. I'll eat mayo too but it just doesn't have much flavor.
You may as well "Coke or Pepsi". Only one is right

I voted mayo. On lunchmeat sandwiches, I go mustard, too. but tuna fish and egg salad need the mayo (plus mustard on egg salad)
Both are nasty!

This whole thing does remind me that I want to make a little garlic mayo, just to mess around and mix things up. Just one yolk's worth will scratch the itch.
I'm OK with either. My wife is definitely Miracle Whip, we don't use enough to bother to keep 2 in the fridge, so that's what we keep around.
For me each has its place. In things like potato salad and tunafish salad MW on a burger mayo sandwich either one just depends on my mood or what's in the fridge.
I do ketchup (the real stuff, Heinz) on my Bologna.
Dukes Mayo! But, I too prefer mustard.
