Ikon X3 slant.

Hello everyone, newbie here, as fresh as a daisy, just checked in.

After reading extensively on the this razor, I decided to order an Ikon X3 slant with the bulldog handle from connaught shaving supplies (a seconds) which will be coming next week. After the R41 and the futur, I wanted something with a great slicing ability which is kind to the skin, also a bit forgiving. Can anyone tell me what to expect from this razor please.

It's one of my favorites. Much more forgiving than the Futur in terms of concentration. Almost always gives a BBS shave. FWIW, I think you made a good choice.

It comes with the bulldog, but I think I'll buy a longer heftier one.

I'll have to look into the X3 some more. Looks like a cross between a Shavecraft 102 and Ikon DLC slant, both of which I enjoy using. Thanks for reposting the earlier discussion.
