Got my Eveready schick -G

Quick question it had a dull black blade in it. Would that mean MABE NOS.
All I know is it's in GREAT CONDITION.

I don't think they shipped with a blade in place, but I could be mistaken. It's in very, very good shape.

I believe the "blade" you have a blank (non-blade) that's factory-installed before shipping. Just inject a new blade, the blank will be ejected...shave on!

Yes, I believe that it is a blank, which is a good indication that it very well might be NOS. I have seen black, red, and copper blanks, but I seem to remember that my G4 came with a black blank. I know you will really love that razor. My Gs are among my favorites.

if its not NOS then is very well taken care of, stored in dry place, low use and whether used or not it don't matter its just as good as new. If you paid for it cheap that's another win for you
