Razor identification/question

Found my way in an antique mall and came across what looks like a GEM double edge razor. The button on the case says GEM but I'm only familiar with their double edge. Price is $35

That looks like a DE razor. The handle looks like a Silver Star handle.

It's some sort of Frankenrazor. I would pass.

It's a Star, with a Bakelite baseplate.

I'd pass also.
